Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

A leading design, development and manufacturing organisation, with global reach, is enjoying a period of rapid growth. With an East Midlands manufacturing and office base and the flexibility for some remote working, they are seeking a US Sales & Support Engineer to support their expansion. This is a permanent role offering superb training and progression. Part Hybrid role

Application Support Engineer Role

• The qualified candidate will provide applications engineering and sales support for the development of small to medium sized industrial water treatment / purification systems from our UK Product portfolio for our US Business Unit

• In addition, the successful candidate will also be able to work with drafters to create and develop process schemes, collaborate to generate sales proposals with appropriate approval levels and identify and evaluate risks associated with design concept and project.

• Successful candidates will also be able to analyse alternative techniques and methods and recommends changes to equipment or procedures as needed.

Application Support Engineer Skills Required

• The US Sales & Support Engineer will have the ability to evaluate and operate process equipment, meters, gauges. They will also have knowledge of engineering, including piping, valves, pumps, motors, controls and instrumentation with a minimum of 2 years‘ experience in the industrial water treatment system operation or design.

• The successful candidate must also have a HNC or higher qualification in Industrial, Mechanical, Environmental and/or Chemical Engineering. Any experience in AutoCAD is also a plus.

• The role may also include travel – the successful candidate must be flexible to do so.

Location – Alfreton – Hybrid working for most roles (3/2)
