Financial Assessments Visiting Officer

£17.58 per hour
The purpose of this role is to deliver a professional and efficient front line service to clients receiving a Community Care service. You will be required to obtain, examine and record all relevant financial and other information required from clients, legal representatives, in order to be able to carry out financial assessments and determine the client contributions to be made towards their domiciliary, residential or nursing care. You will also provide benefits advice and assist clients to complete forms and deal with queries from the DWP.
Applicants should be able to drive and have use of a vehicle for work. Previous experience within a similar role is required together with a full understanding of the welfare benefits system and associated legislation. Applicants must have an enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months.
