Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant position will be based in Sutton Coldfield and see you joining a privately owned group who require a confident and ambitious Newly Qualified ACA or ACCA studier making a first move from practice to join their team to support month end production and year end requirements.

As a Financial Accountant you will be essential to the continued business growth, working within a small team and reporting directly to the Group Accountant who has previously trained in practice and is willing to offer full support and training. The primary focus of the Financial Accountant is to support a specific division in the fulfilment of its internal monthly reporting, quarterly bank reporting and annual statutory reporting.

to the Group Accountant, the role offers a unique opportunity to take a leading role in the delivery of financial reporting within a diverse and fast paced environment.

The business is in a phase of growth and looking to develop its group accounting systems, group reporting framework and treasury functions. The new role has been created to allow capacity within the team to facilitate ongoing projects and infrastructure development.

Financial Accountant Profile:

* Recently Qualified ACA or ACCA
* Trained in a Top 10 practice
* Hungry to develop

* Ability to challenge Directors and push through change
* Previous accounts prep experience would be beneficial
