Salary: £31,200 – £33,600 per year

Job Role: CAD Technician

Location: Leeds (LS9)

Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00

Salary: £31,200 – £33,600 per annum (negotiated on experience)

Main Purpose of Job:

Preliminary Design Review (PDR): Generation of technical solution and supporting documentation to enable quotation.

Critical Design Review (CDR): Development of PDR into fully defined solution for final customer approval.

Team Leader

Senior / Principal Technicians

Responsible for:

Associate Technicians

Main Tasks of Job:

1)Review and quickly digest technical information provided to fully understand task and identify any missing/conflicting information.

2)Based on customer information, product knowledge and training; carry out PDR to generate technically compliant and cost optimised solution within target response times.

3)Based on PDR proposal, updated customer information, product knowledge and training; carry out CDR to generate technically compliant and cost optimised solution within target response times.

4)To manage and proactively develop the technical relationship with the customer to ensure product delivers to technical requirements.

5)To support the account team in commercial and programme discussions with the customer.

6)To contribute towards the continual development of people, tools and processes within the technical department.
