International Export Sales Executive – Cable Industry

As part of a growing and dynamic sales desk, Export Sales Executives play a key role in the delivery of a superior customer service experience. Their role encompasses proactive customer relationship development and responsive quoting on product/pricing enquiries. Operating in a fast moving environment, Export Sales Executives are at the forefront of the company’s international trading activities and are a key driver of the company’s global commercial success.

Successful candidates will have a keen interest and passion for international trade, with acute attention to detail. Of the two positions currently available, one would ideally be awarded to a native French speaker with excellent English (both verbal and written). Other languages would be valuable for the second position. Good communication skills, telephone manners and a high level of numeracy are essential. Candidates will also have a positive attitude and be able to work well under pressure, as the role requires dealing with numerous customer enquiries, sometimes simultaneously. The candidate must also demonstrate good commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a firm dedication to exceptional customer service.

Previous sales and/or international experience would be an advantage, although this role will also suit a bright, polished graduate looking to kick-start a rewarding career. Training and on-the-job mentoring will be provided.

Finally, electrical engineering and/or experience of exporting industrial products would be an advantage.
