About the role

We are looking for a customer focussed Property Inspector to join our team and to help us achieve our social mission.

On the Job you will:

  • support the AOBMs for responsive repairs, trade operatives and Resource Planners by carrying out pre and post repairs inspections, producing specifications and scopes of work for the DLO and external contractors
  • carry out ‘work in progress’ visits and mutual exchange inspections plus damp and mould investigations
  • raise work orders and updating Fairhive’s databases accordingly and signing off completed work.

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with a diverse range of people and who understands the importance of delivering an efficient and effective service to all our customers.

For this role you will need:

  • HNC/recognised qualification in construction or demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Good general education including GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Proficient in the use of IT

You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:

  • good communication skills,
  • the ability to work as a part of a multi-disciplined team,
  • good time management skills
  • practical problem solving skills
