Fairhive is a non-profit affordable housing provider with ambition. We already provide affordable housing to more than 20,000 people in our community but we want to do more. That’s why we are striving to provide 1,000 additional homes by 2025.

We are current looking to recruit an Employee Development Business Partner who is passionate about developing people and business performance through continuous learning.

About the Role

Working under the supervision of the Organisation Development Manager you will be expected to undertake performance improvement projects, deliver training courses and have responsibility for all aspects of the training cycle related to learning and development activities.

You must have previous learning and development line management experience gained in a similar role, underpinned by your CIPD level 5 qualification (or equivalent).

You will have knowledge and experience in digital learning and understand how to maximise the opportunities this offers in a hybrid world.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in maintaining digital learning systems e.g. Learning Management system, Performance management system

With excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail you will be able to apply initiative to problem solving supporting senior leaders to improve team performance.

With experience of training delivery you will have the ability to remain calm and efficient whilst working in a reactionary and fast moving environment.

You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:

  • line management experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • being able to build effective working relationships with stakeholders
  • the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast paced environment
