Design Engineer/Temporary Works Design Engineer

We have a new vacancy for a Design Engineer / Temporary Works Design Engineer to join an award winning Engineering consultancy.

The successful Design Engineer / Temporary Works Design Engineer will have a strong technical background and experience of temporary works design who is keen to further their career.
You will work on some of the UK’s largest Civil Engineering and Infrastructure schemes.

Temporary Works Design Engineer role:-

Reporting to the Design Team Leader, and working closely with a small team
Consistent production of economic designs shown on clear and accurate drawings, maximising commercial opportunities.
Producing temporary works designs, calculations, associated drawings and risk assessments to tight deadlines
Clear, comprehensive, adequate, efficient production of structural calculations
The detailing requirements typically include a combination of plans, sections, elevations and notes/details
Provide design engineering services within the Temporary Works Design Team

Role requirements and qualifications:-

BEng, BSC, MEng, MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering or relevant qualification.
Experience of working in the UK market and be familiar with UK building codes.
Background in Structural Engineer and experience working temporary works design projects is a must
Working knowledge of analysis software packages, e.g. CSC Fastrak, TEDDS, ROBOT, ETABS and/or SAFE would be an advantage

Package:-

£30,000 – £45,000
