Structural Engineer

Salary: £37,200 – £43,200 per year

Structural Engineer required by very successful and busy steelwork fabrication company based in the East Midlands area. Their work is split between secondary steelwork / medium sized steel structures and a range of ancillary steelwork including gantry’s, walkways, pipe support frameworks and bespoke items for many industrial applications.

Due they require a Structural Engineer.

This is a full time, permanent PAYE position working within a growing and very busy engineering company with a very varied portfolio of fabrications and products, so would ideally suit an Engineer who enjoys a wide variety of engineering / design work and challenges.

Job details:

You will be required to produce steelwork frame / structure design along with connection designs, primarily any moment connection designs for their internal drawing office.

Working with Eurocode / BS standards as specified.

Recognized formal engineering qualifications required.

Proven experience of designing steelwork and associated connections within the steelwork industry.

Excellent communication skills required with ability to work and liaise with all internal departments and externally with architects, engineers, contractors alike at design, contract, launch meetings if required.
