IT Support Technician

Salary: £26,000 – £27,600 per year

Adecco are currently looking for an IT Technician for one of our clients based in Port Talbot. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an industry-leading manufacturer, who has been operating for over 100 years and are continuing to go from strength to strength even in the current climate.

Our client is looking for a candidate who is hard working, full of enthusiasm and willing to learn, and able to adapt to their unique culture.

Duties will include;

Installing and maintaining software and hardware systems
Setting up and assigning new users to equipment (including password resets)
Installing anti-virus software and educating staff on best practice regarding online security
Configuring computer networks
having good diagnostic skills will be required, as technical problems will need to be resolved both on-site and remotely.
Database management (SQL)The ideal candidate will have experience with;

HTML
CSS
JavaScript
SQL (highly desirable, but not essential)
PHP – not essential
C# – not essentialThis is a permanent junior to mid-level role where you will shadow the IT Manager and support where necessary.
