Our client specialises in the recycling of hazardous waste. An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Compliance Manager to assume the following responsibilities:
* Manage an integrated management system.
* Develop and review IMS policies, procedures, manuals, and associated documentation in line with ISO standards & company activities.
* Manage and first point of call for all health & safety, quality and environmental issues / paperwork, H&S & Compliance meetings.
* Produce and manage DSE, risk, COSHH assessments and method statements
* Complete internal auditing.
* Act as representative for external auditing.
* Oversee the engineering paperwork with regards to ISO accreditations.
* Manage training, create presentations, toolbox talks and course material.
* Carry out new staff inductions, ensuring all sub-contractors are competent, inductions to site and duty of care audits.
* Gather suitable data to benchmark the company’s activities with regards to ISO objectives.
Work hours are 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri.
