General Operative / Machine Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

Family run business with 20 years manufacturing for a variety of industries. They have supplied 1000’s of clients successfully, providing packaging solutions. Due to continued success they have a requirement to add to the team.

Your new role
You will be employed as a Machine Operative to operate labelling machines. Duties will also include assisting the warehouse team pack orders, wrap pallets, order picking as well as operating forklift if you have a licence.

Days Mon – Fr 8am – 5pm

What you’ll need to succeed
You will ideally have a good manufacturing background, preferably operating machines. A good working attitude and willingness to help other teams in the business is required. Forklift licence is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.

What you’ll get in return
You will be paid £9 and after successful training period will rise to £10. Time and half is offered for overtime.
