Quartz Recruitment is working with their client to find two General Operatives to assist their busy team. The temporary role will be for one month initially but could lead to a permanent position.
General Operatives – main responsibilities:
Working alongside our team of Multi-Skilled Operatives in supporting larger work projects or those requiring more than one person.
Assisting on-site with general labouring and delivery duties, including manual handling tasks.
To load and unload all debris/materials from or to the stores, site or place of disposal.
To assist in the purchasing of materials or hiring of tools or plant equipment
General Operatives – The Person
You will have a basic knowledge of the building industry with experience assisting in one or more of the following areas; brickwork/blockwork, paving, plastering/rendering, roofing, carpentry, fencing, and decoration.
You will have a working knowledge of health & safety principles.
You will work well in a team environment and be supportive of others.
Hours for the General Operative:
Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
Pay for the General Operative:
£26,000 per year negotiable depending on experience
