Interim Programme Manager (IT/IS/Data)

6 month Interim contract with possibility of extension

Location: Central London

Day rate: £720 – £780per day

This is an exciting opportunity to join a major UK infrastructure, renewable energy and asset management organisation, supporting on a key IT/IS data management projects. Initially this will be focussed on establishing major Data management projects which will include:

– Project Initiation
– Articulating goals; Identifying stakeholders; establishing relationships;
– Managing business communications with internal advisers
– Creating project plan (stage gates, deliverables, measures of success)
– Implementing controls strategy (steering groups etc.)
– Determine resource requirement;
– Obtaining senior buy-in; formalising the project.

– Project Execution
– Establishing project team; sharing objectives and plans;
– Managing up, down and across teams;
– Reporting and controlling as required across all stakeholders;
– Meet the goals of the established and agreed project;

Skills & Experience:

– Ability to manage projects to meet programme goals
– Excellent Stakeholder management skills
– Ability to build and lead teams
– Negotiation and mediation skills (internal stakeholder focussed)
– Excellent communication skills
– Problem solving
– IT literate with basic systems architecture knowledge
– Understanding and practical hands on experience of project management methodologies (SCRUM, Prince2, etc)
