Senior Project Manager

Our Client is a well known specialist in 3PL in the ambient sectors of food, automotive and industrial. They are agile, enthusiastic, customer focused and with a dedication to innovation through continuous improvement. As a growing and very profitable business, it is recognised that the need is to appoint a pragmatic hand-on project manager, who is capable of working closely with customers and colleagues on a wide range of new projects.

Reporting to the Logistics Director and with daily links to operational and functional colleagues, to customers and to suppliers. The main thrust of the role will be based on WMS and TMS applications and in the implementation of new contracts. Additionally, he/she will work closely with all stakeholders in the design of solutions for added value with key accounts. You will have full responsibility for project management and be an integral part if the new business department.

Certainly of graduate calibre, you will possess Prince2 or a similar qualification. Your background will have encompassed project management and implementation of systems across both warehousing and transport, ideally within a 3PL environment. You will be credible, customer driven and systems literate, yet with a pragmatic approach to all your work. A background in continuous improvement will also be especially sought, as will your ability to grow in this fast paced business.
