Practice Accountant

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Metric Recruitment is looking for an Accountant to join an established Accountancy Practice who offer excellent opportunities for progression. The successful candidate will be joining a small, talented team of accountants who work with a range of clients across different sectors.

Within the role you will be performing taxation and general practice accounting, working to meet the requirements of clients.

A key aspect of the role will be developing relationships with clients along with the preparation and completion of company accounts and personal accounts with related tax returns.

Responsibilities / Skills required:

* Recent experience within an accountancy practice

* The ability to work with a range of clients and build relationships

* Experience with a range of accountancy software packages – i.e. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks

* Preparation of accounting and management information

* VAT returns
