Part Ii Architectural Assistant

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Currently recruiting for a National, Award Winning Architectural Practice who are looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant to be based in their offices near Darlington. This is an excellent opportunity for a degree qualified Part II Architectural Assistant to join an award winning, national practice. The client currently has a large number of clients and projects on in a range of sectors within the industry; these areas include Student Accommodation, Mixed Use, Residential, Commercial and other areas.

The Part II Architectural Assistant responsibilities will be to produce planning application drawings and develop further detailed stages suitable for Building Regulation applications, tender and construction. In addition, the Part II Architectural Assistant assist with developing designs and preparing documentation for tender purposes, including specification writing as well as produce working drawing packages. The Part II Architectural Assistant will need to be confident using Revit as this practice uses this software on a daily basis.

Part II Architectural Assistant Position Overview

Prepare planning application drawings
Prepare documentation for tender purposes
Work closely with the Senior Architect
Work on a range of residential, commercial, education, healthcare and hospitality developments
Liaise with clients and contractors
Use Revit on a daily basis
Prepare Building Regulation Applications
Prepare working drawings

Part II Architectural Assistant Position Requirements

Relevant Degree Qualified
Good technical ability
Living in or around the Darlington area
Residential experience preferred
Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Excellent knowledge of Revit
Good construction knowledge
Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic

Part II Architectural Assistant Position Remuneration

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000(DOE)
20 days’ holiday + Bank Holiday
