Business Development Manager – Pumps

Salary £78,000 + bonus

Based in Aberdeen

A Business Development Manager with experience of API610 pumps and the Oil & Gas sector is required within this role for a busy engineering company.

You will be responsible for developing the company’s client base within the Aberdeen area. You will obtain profitable orders for all new equipment, service, repair and hire of pumps in order to achieve annual targets. Along with managing the customer base you will identify potential new accounts / markets and investigate opportunities. You will be required to prepare all accompanying tender documents.

Candidates will have proven experience in a similar role. Experience of pumps and the Oil & Gas sector is essential. More specifically, knowledge of the API610 mark is required. Familiarity of the tender requirements of the Oil & Gas sector will be required. Candidates must have knowledge of the Aberdeen customer base.

Whilst this role will be developing the Aberdeen client base, it is not essential that the successful candidate is based locally. However, you must be willing to do regular visits and stay in the Aberdeen area as required.
