Software Tester / Test Analyst. A Chippenham, Wiltshire based IT solutions and software firm require a Tester / Test Analyst to join the team. The Software Tester / Test Analyst will report to the Development Manager and will produce test criteria, conditions and scripts for all types of testing, analysis and reporting of testing activities, support software development project work and internal projects, liaise with client test teams and author / QA business documents.

The Software Tester / Test Analyst will need recent Test Analyst experience. The Software Tester / Test Analyst will need experience in IT Application testing, working within the IT development lifecycle, automated testing and experience of internet and business software products. The Software Tester / Test Analyst will need skills in Test Strategy development, creation of test plans and specifications and production of test scenarios and scripts. The Software Tester / Test Analyst will need skills in test execution including the use of automated tools, test data definition and management and analysis and reporting of test results.

Ideally the Software Tester / Test Analyst may have had hands on application development / coding experience, UML modelling, working within Prince2 methodology, will have a degree and experience of working within a Quality System, experience of TDD and user stories, experience of writing technical documentation – all desirable.

The Tester / Test Analyst salary is £30,000 – £36,000depending on experience plus benefits.
