Based: Cambridge or UK Home Based (significant EMEA travel)

As EMEA Sales Director you will bring to the table a track record of enterprise software sales and leadership experience selling into executive level in the Materials Science domain (Chemicals, Oil & Gas) This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global software brand with international presence during a significant growth phase within the EMEA region.
You will be responsible for leading a team of EMEA Account Managers and driving sales of enterprise software solutions into Materials Science, Chemicals and Oil & Gas accounts throughout Europe. As member of the core executive team you will partner with leaders globally and be a key influencer with regards future product developments and strategy.
Candidate Profile
• Sales Director / Head of Sales / VP of Sales level executive with a track record of securing multi-million dollar enterprise software sales into Materials Science, Chemicals and Oil & Gas accounts across Europe
• Experience of successfully managing a geographically dispersed EMEA Account Management team, delivering individual and team targets
• Manage and develop long-term strategic relationships at the CIO, VP and Executive Director level to develop new business opportunities and build long-term rewarding partnerships
• Confidently and accurately predict and articulate the needs of customers to the R&D Executive team, to enable these requirements to be assessed and translated into long term strategic deliverable solutions that provide definite ROI and deliver improvements to customers
• Accurately forecast sales pipeline and consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
• Seasoned business traveller. This role will involve significant travel throughout the EMEA region
