Account Manager – Chemistry Consumables

Salary: £26,000 – £31,200 per year

We are seeking an energetic technical sales specialist to join a market-leading laboratory equipment & consumables vendor’s UK sales team.

Home based with a sales territory covering the South East – Cambridge to Brighton – inc. London, you will be responsible for selling their exciting entire portfolio with a focus on chromatography products. Your goal is to meet/exceed annual sales targets – via maintaining relationships with key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities across a variety of analytical chemistry (and related) areas.

Due to the consultative nature of the sales process, candidates must possess at minimum a BSc degree (Chemistry or related subject). Previous sales experience is essential – this may be non-scientific in nature. The ideal candidate will also have an excellent understanding of U/HPLC separations – gained through hands-on analytical work or previous sales experience selling chromatography systems and/or consumables.

Excellent communication skills, passion, drive and personal pride to ensure client expectations are exceeded being key factors!

Knowledge of the pharma/biopharma sector is highly advantageous.
