The Client & Role | Who Are They?

Are you looking for that next sales role with warm accounts and lots of upselling opportunities? Do you want a commission structure that is aligned with most other sales roles out there? The standard 10-20%? If so, then please move on as this opportunity is not for you. Sorry.

We are looking for an out and out hunter! A true business development guru. Someone who wants to do that door knocking, cold calling, loves the objection handling role plays and the challenge of getting passed the inn keeper. We want this person to be hungry, thick skinned would probably help along with the ability to relax to some chill out music at the end of the day. End of the day you may ask- what time is that?

This client is only small but packs a punch. An award-winning technology business (and yes, they not only have a cupboard of trophies to showcase but also an abundance of the standard social media photos of awards evenings, bubbly, glitzy outfits and selfies). They are proud of who they are and where they are going and if you want to be part of that journey then read on.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

We want to engage with individuals who have a proven track record of selling into the marine, maritime, shipping or vessels sectors. Individuals who have sold a technology product electronics, electrical or software would be great, but we are keeping an open mind as long as the contacts are there (the above sectors plus distribution channels) and mixed with an abundance of energy and passion for new business.

Basic salary. The only thing about this role that is pretty bog standard is the basic salary – £48,000 region give or take. However, the commission is uncapped. That’s right uncapped and we anticipate the right person will be taking home at least £48,000 on top if not more. The ball is really in your court. This manufacturing business has a great novel design system, modular mixed with extremely efficient lead times and world class support teams. Mmm, maybe I should do my cv tonight!
