Stores & Machine Operative

Due to further growth we are seeking 2 more additional warehouse/ stores operatives for a local successful company based in the Horsham area, immediate starts possible. To be considered for these opportunities you will need to have previous stores/fork lift operation experience, the company will provide training on other equipment to be used.

Please note that these opportunities are temporary to permanent, joining the company on an initial 3 month contract with the views of becoming a permanent employee at the end of the term. This is a Monday to Friday day time position paying an initial £26,000per year (40 hour week). Upon going permanent you will be offered a Salary: £26,000 per year minimal plus overtime.

Main Duties
• Your primary responsibility will be to stores, the safe storage of materials and machined products at all times.
• Ensure the right consignments are packed and ready for customer shipments
• Pick the right raw materials for production
• Assisting within production (training will be provided)
• Operate forklifts on private land for shipping materials around the site as well as loading and unloading vehicles.

Experience and skills required:
• Previous stores experience essential
• Previously operated a forklift truck, don’t need to be currently certified.
• Will require to be physically fit as some safe heavily lifting is involved.
