Job Title: Production/Machine Operative
Reporting to: Department Manager
Hours: Starting on days 08:00 AM – 17:00 (40 hours P/W) Must be flexible to work shifts
Location: Sowerby Bridge
Salary: £26,000per year
Working as part of the production team, you will be involved in the manufacturing of a wide range of hoses to a high quality standard.
The role:
* Operating machinery
* Corroflon convoluting
* Bioflex KR and bioflon wire wrapping
* Visiflon and corroflon SP convoluting
* Rubber and silicone extrusion
* Hand wrap rubber covering
* Hand wrap silicone covering
* Protection coli wire wrapping
* Wire welding
* Material stock control
* Complete documentation in line with ISO: 9001/2008
Attributes:
* Must possess a quality working attitude
* Ability to learn quickly
* Quality orientated
* Good level of numeracy and general education
* Ability to work well with other as part of a team or on your own
* Ability and willingness to perform manual work
* Ensuring that all company and health and safety procedures are adhered to
* Basic knowledge of computers/windows
* Experience within a similar role and environment
Essential:
* Basic education
* To have worked in a manufacturing environment
* Have good experience working with tape measures and venires
* A basic understanding of what the company manufactures
* To have a good attitude towards managers and coworkers
* Be able to work overtime as and when required
* Experience working on a production line or working in assembly is essential.
