Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £60,000 – £67,200 per year

Mane are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to be based out of an office in York.

Ideally coming from a Landscaping, Forestry and Civils background your main duties will include –

• To produce the valuations for all works with Operational Managers and submit them in accordance with contractual obligations
• Record, monitor and review the performance of all contracts
• Secure payments from clients in accordance with contract terms
• To ensue all commercial queries are dealt with in a timely manner to aid cash flow
• Production and reporting of all commercial information required by Managers and Board
• Travel to meetings with customers, clients and internal meetings essential

To be considered for this vacancy as a Quantity Surveyor you must meet the below criteria:

• Quantity Surveying qualification essential
• Familiar with NEC forms of contract
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel & experience with work and project
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Flexibility to carry out duties not part of the normal remit in the interests of the team
• Full UK driving licence

The working hours every week will be 44 hours minimum. As a direct employee you will be in line to receive employee benefits.
