Finance Assistant

Salary: £31,200 per year

Platform Resourcing have partnered with a Professional Services company in the Cardiff area to find a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is a well-known and established company, where you will play an integral part of the team to assist with a variety of activities to support internal and external clients. There are training and development opportunities available, and they also offer hybrid working.

This role is a guaranteed 6 month full time contract and will be an immediate start for the successful candidate.

To be successful in this role, you would have previous experience within an accounts payable or credit control position, and have worked in a similar environment.

Duties of the Finance Assistant position:

* Debt report reconciliation and recoveries on behalf of the suppliers

* Communicating clearly on any queries and when chasing overdue debt

* Contacting suppliers to obtain statement of accounts to review the debt position

* Liaise with debt collectors and solicitors for escalated cases

* Administration duties such as invoice queries and reminded letters

Experience which we are looking for

* Strong Administration and excel skills

* Relevant experience within an accounts payable or credit control position

* Experience within a busy role and ability to manage your workload
