Finance Assistant

Salary: £28,800 – £31,200 per year

Finance Assistant – About The Role

The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller, working within a team of up to 8 people. The role is varied, and will suit someone who is self-motivated, has strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude. Responsibilities will include:-

* Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

* Liaising with finance teams, ensuring intercompany journals are correctly posted for monthly managerial accounts

* Assisting with weekly reports, and updating trackers on a weekly basis

* All VAT returns, liaising with external VAT companies as well as VAT reconciliations

* Ensuring a strong financial control environment is maintained and that policies are followed

The successful Finance Assistant will have

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Educated in finance (AAT or similar)

* Patient and calm under pressure

* Willing to travel (due to international nature of company)
