Job Overview
Our client is leading provider of specialist brickwork and cast concrete components serving the construction industry across the UK, with operations internationally.
Based in the Burton-on-Trent area we are seeking an experienced production/factory manager to report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for all health and safety, production, distribution, and local HR related matters.
Production method knowledge is essential in delivering cohesive management to the production facility, however it’s expected a training package will be tailored to the individual’s needs.
Key Requirements:
* Knowledge of the Brick, tile, concrete or ceramic cutting industry – Desirable
* Experience of people management within a production facility
* Ability to understand technical drawings
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and demanding business
* Direct product related Knowledge
* Able to offer flexibility in working hours
Desirable Qualifications
* NEBOSH qualification – Desirable but not essential
* Management qualification – Desirable but not essential
