Projects Excellence Director

We are recruiting a number of roles with a leading facilities management business. Our client delivers engineering solutions, soft FM services and integrated property services to customers within the education, technology, health, banking, commercial and industrial sectors. They are recognised as one of the dominant forces within FM and are at the cutting edge of innovative service delivery.

As part of an internal corporate project they are developing Centres of Excellence to promote a more cohesive and standardised working practice across their Project Management function.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic working plans on a large scale, developing efficient operational business processes, managing systems and applications and ensuring the wider business is compliant with changes in legislation and policy.

You will identify best practice within the business, develop staff engagement and training procedures, develop a culture of continuous improvement, develop and manage operating infrastructure and develop and maintain a standard operating procedure handbook.

The client delivers projects ranging in value from £50,000 – upwards of £2mil, these include plant replacement, building upgrades, smaller construction builds and technical M&E services.

You will be required to assist in the bid and business development process and present corporate working practices to potential customers.

This is a senior level role answering directly into the board, you will come from a senior projects background and have a background delivering projects on a major scale, leadership in a large corporate environment and a history of delivering projects and programmes across multiple business units & divisions is a must.

You must have the drive and personality to influence on a large scale, you must be exceptionally outward facing and have the gravitas and persona to implement new working practices with senior stakeholders. It is imperative you are a subject matter expert within project delivery
