Export Sales Manager – Building / Architecture Products.
Circa £40,000 basic.

The company we are working with has developed it’s products to the level that they are now incorporated within historic buildings, hospitals, museums, hotels, in fact anywhere that people or contents need to be separated from the danger of fire or smoke.

We are not talking about sprinklers or extinguishing systems here
These products physically separate areas of a building in an emergency or alarm situation to provide a safe exit corridor or protect other areas. Physically these have to be robust and effective but also discreet so that aesthetically they don’t detract from the architecture or interior design concept.

A high class shopping centre, airport departure lounge, conference centre or department store is designed to look good but also be safe, as you can imagine this presents a functional and design challenge but that’s what makes this an interesting project based sales role, no two jobs will be the same.

One day you could be dealing with architects on a new build, the next local authorities facilities maintenance and the next liaising with insurance compliance.

This is a consultative export sales process, it is likely that you have some form of international building, FM or building services background to understand the applications and have the credibility to deal with clients at different levels.

Most importantly you will have the vision to create export sales strategies combined with the tenacity and sales skills to convert these into long term business.
