CAD technician / Detailer – Telecoms Department

Roles & Responsibilities:
Shire Consulting as a provider of design services to the mobile telecommunications industry are currently looking to expand their design team in line with the current volume of ongoing telecoms projects. We are currently offering a position for a CAD technician with a minimum of 3 years professional CAD experience who has been used to producing General arrangement drawings through to Detailed design drawings.

We have a large number of projects that require detailing of full roll out sites through to site upgrades & infills. Experience within the telecoms industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided in all aspects of mobile telecoms site design. The candidate must be conversant in the use of AutoCAD and it would also be advantageous if you had some Revit experience.

The successful applicant will predominantly spend their time producing detailed drawings as well as completing general arrangement drawings, redline amendments and attending the occasional site survey. The applicant would form part of a very busy but highly motivated team where deadlines can be very tight and each individual is expected to have good self organizational skills, be adaptable and have excellent communication skills
