Estimator

Our client is a large civil engineering main contractor and a major presence within the industry. This contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Estimator on a freelance basis. This role will be based in the Midlands, working on a long term street lighting PFI contract for 6 months.
Our client can provide a stable and professional working environment alongside a highly competitive rate of pay.

As an Estimator you will;
Have previous experience working in the public sector
Liaise with Operational Lead & Bid Directors in pricing strategy development
Oversee the input of estimates into bids
Challenge current methodologies and bring innovations to tenders

As an Estimator you will have;
A HNC or related construction qualification.
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
A full driving licence is essential.

Benefits;
£330 – £360 per day.
6 month contract.
Working with an international construction outfit.
