Accounts Payable Manager – Retail

Radley Green finance and accounting recruitment are currently assisting an exciting international retail business to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager.

The successful candidate will ideally have a background in retail particularly in a stock environment however more important than this will be the ability to manage a large team.

The role is a full function AP Manager position managing a team of 15 and as such you will be required, amongst other tasks, to:

• Manage and assess output of the team against KPI’s/SLA’s
• Point of contact for International teams and queries
• Preparation and review of payment runs
• Escalation point for suppliers and international customers
• Review of cash flow forecasting
• Liaise between the AP and GL teams
• Robust and efficient invoice processing and payment cycle
• Implementation of weekly and monthly KPI reporting
• Building capability and continuous process improvement

Experienced required:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a large accounts payable function
• Proven business change, team management and process improvement experience
• Facilitating multi-country/company/currency payments
• Experience of high volume stock matching and payments

It is key that you are confident manager able to gain buy-in form senior management, and junior team members alike, the ability to build relationships with and international supplier base and understand the complex supplier statement reconcilliations.

The role will pay a salary of between £48,000 and £50,000 plus bonus and fantastic benefits.
