Finishing / Defects Manager (Mixed Use Projects)

This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading clients, a £250m turnover Main Contractor specialising in Design & Build projects across a wide range of sectors. Having recently secured a number of major Retail, Mixed Use and Distribution Centre projects, we have been asked to supply a Finishing / Defects Manager to work on snagging and after care works across the UK.

Finishing / Defects Manager responsibilities:

– Managing the delivery of work on site in terms of Quality.
– Producing (and regularly reviewing) short term programmes in line with the overall project programme.
– Working closely with the Commercial Team to ensure that commercial controls are maintained.
– Snagging / Defect management.
– Daily / Weekly progess reoprting upline to the Senior Project Manager / Project Director on each project.
– Client Management – resolving any defects for 12 months after handover.

Finishing / Defects Manager experience required:

– Minimum 3 years Finishing / Defects Manager experience.
– Major Project experience – £5 – 50m in value.
– Internal / Externals experience.
– Trade background.
– SSSTS, First Aid, CSCS as a minimum.
– Excellent client facing skills.
– Strong IT skills.

This is a long term contract opportunity with geniune temp to perm possibilities. Excellent rates + all expenses (travel & accommodation) paid.
