Accountant

Our client is an established ftse 250 who due to continued growth seek a part qualified Accountant to work closely with the Divisional Financial Controller for an expanding business unit. The role will suit a progressive individual looking to step up into a Finance Manager role in time.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist the team members in compiling the month end accounts
• Coding transactions and inputting results into accounts package
• Prepare payments on due dates
• Provide cover for Financial Controller (where appropriate)
• Liaising with other members of the team and with the customers of the SPV finance team
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Involvement in budgeting / forecasting
• Involvement in year end audits and statutory accounts preparation
• Vat Returns

A salary of £36,000 – £42,000plus study and great benefits package
