Production Operative

CY Partners are currently looking to recruit Shift Production Operatives to join a Chemical manufacturing company on Teesside, on a permanent basis.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Following the Production plan set out for the shift
• To be accountable for the full and comprehensive recording of process information and adherence to process work instructions;
• To monitor processing for non-conformances and to report any irregularities to the Shift Supervisor.
• To ensure the efficient processing of products in relation to raw materials, labour, plant occupancy and plant utilisation in a safe manner;
• Where required, to be involved in the documentation, development, and scale up of new processes.
• To ensure that the plant is maintained in a safe and operational manner
• To ensure the safe and complete handover to the next shift team

Requirements

• A BSc degree in Chemistry is desirable, but not essential; ideally NVQ L2 or 3 in PPO or equivalent
• Experience of working in a batch production environment
• Excellent team working skills coupled with ability to work on own initiative
• ‘Can-do’ attitude and flexible approach to work
• Strong continuous improvement work ethic
• Experience at handling Chemicals
• A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is required.
