Social Worker – Childrens and Familes

We are looking for a Social Worker for a residential home looking after children and young people in Essex.

The skills and experience needed for this position are as follows:
• Ability to manage and organise a complex and diverse workload under pressure and to deadlines
• Creative and effective communication skills with children, young people and their families
• Ability to secure the meaningful participation of children and young people in the assessment and care planning process
• Ability to form partnerships with children and adults in challenging circumstances
• Ability to develop and implement effective care plans
• Ability to use ICT competently
• Advanced literacy skills that deliver high quality written reports
• Ability to contribute to team development and the establishment of team targets consistent with service plan objectives
• Networking skills that develop and sustain relationships with partners that ensure the delivery of effective multi-disciplinary care plans

In order to be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Social Work Qualification (Social Work Degree, Diploma in Social Care, CQSW, CSS or equivalent). We are interested in candidates who are either newly qualified or have some post qualification experience in children and families.
