Qualified Social Worker – Children in Need

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work join the London Borough of Greenwich Children In Need Team.

The role is to Safeguard and promote the welfare of Children In Need, working wherever possible with parents / carers to ensure that children have a childhood that is safe and that they are securely attached to their carer. Wherever possible promote choice in the way that services are provided, seek to build on the strengths and resilience within families, secure the involvement and appropriate participation of children and young people, and their parents / carers. Carry out actions arising from assessments of need, including designing appropriate packages of service or support, providing advice, services or support to children and families, or presenting cases to Fostering or Adoption Panels, or to courts.

This great opportunity has a long term contract with the strong possibility of an even longer extension. There is also an excellent rate of pay and flexible working hours.

For this position you must have:
*a degree or masters in Social Work (or any other recognised equivalent qualification)
*HCPC registration
