APPLICATIONS ENGINEER
SALARY: £30,000 – £42,000 + Pension + Holidays
Applications Engineer needed to work for a great engineering company that manufacture equipment used in power.
Situated in Scarborough, the site is accessible from many areas in North Yorkshire. The company is extremely stable with a fantastic order book and needs an Applications Engineer to aid the current team and help provide technical expertise to customers.
The role presents fantastic opportunities for the successful candidate with technical development, large projects to work on and potential overseas projects.
THE ROLE:

Transcribe client requirements and specifications into a costed technical proposal
*
Negotiating with clients in regards to pricing, commercial T & Cs and Technical content within the business guidelines in order to optimise project profitability
*
Undertake tendering activities including site surveys and client meetings
*
Communicate effectively to hand over successful project orders to different teams.
*
Provide technical support throughout the project
THE PERSON:
*
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification
*
Previous experience in Project Management/Sales/Account Management
*
Good technical understanding
*
Experience doing customer facing role
*
Good written and communication skills
*
Must have fantastic IT skills
BENEFITS:
