The Client:
Our client is a leading IT Solutions provider.

The Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced 2nd Line Support Technician to join an established and growing company, working within their support and project team.

Our client is offering the successful candidate the opportunity to grow and progress within the company, providing training where necessary, towards Microsoft and Cisco Certification.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Project planning and delivery.
• Windows 2008R2/2012/2012R2 Server.
• Networking, Transmission Control Protocol and Internet Protocol.
• Firewall and Security.
• IP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Backup and disaster recovery.
• Virtual technology (Hyper-­V/VMware).
• DNS.
• SMTP and IIS.
• Developing further, our client’s excellent relationship and partnership status with Microsoft, HP and VMWare.

The Individual:
The successful candidate will hold a university degree or Microsoft Certification, plus 3 years experience of installing and administering Windows Server including Microsoft Exchange and ideally, have all or part of your MCSE/MCITP. Alternatively, you will hold a qualification within a relevant subject alongside experience of windows 2008R2/2012/2012R2 Server.

You will have experience of Windows Azure and other Cloud Platforms as well as ITIL and SQL and posses excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and keen to progress within their role.
