Paralegal Assistant – Criminal Department
Our Client is one of the regions most established and successful law firms. Offering a complete range of legal services to business and private individuals providing a first class service to people and businesses throughout Essex.
Due to expansion are now recruiting for a paralegal assistant to join their criminal department. This is a varied role that offers career progression for the right person.
The role
- You will be on call to attend police stations on a call rota in and out of office hours once relevant experienced accrued
- Assist in the preparation of Magistrates Courts and Crown Court files.
- Preparation of Trial bundles
- Liaise with clients, prisons, courts, Barristers and Solicitors
The Candidate
- The successful candidate will be trained to attain Police Station Accreditation status, leading to attending and advising at the Police Station
- Your own transport and clean driving licence are essential
- A degree of self -sufficiency, maturity and willingness to learn are important traits for this role
- Strong IT and communication Skills
