Fitter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Fitter to start ASAP based in Dinnington. You will be required to carry out service and repairs to industrial doors, loading bay systems, automatic doors, gates and barriers.

Job role and skills required:

* Install, service and repair industrial doors, loading bay systems, automatic doors, gates and barriers
* Able to work within a 50 mile radius of the company, however further travel may be required
* Must have the ability to diagnose and quantify repairs or upgrades and report back to the office for pricing
* Participate in out of hours call outs and standby rota
* Ideally with a minimum of 3 years experience within the industry
* Able to work on their own initiative or part of a team
* Good customer service skills and personable due to the extensive customer contact
* Electrical fault finding experience (17th edition qualification would be advantageous but not essential)
* BS7036 trained (advantageous but not essential)
* Consent to DBS and DVLA check
* Provide at least two working references
* Hold a full clean Driving Licence

Duration: This is a temporary position, with the possibilty of beig taken on directly by the client for the right candidate.

Hours: You will be working a minimum of 40 hours per week; standard hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. There is an alternated standby on call requirement as well for which you will be paid extra. Overtime is paid after 40 hours
