Salary: £26,000 – £33,618 per year
Our client is a highly respected and established supplier to the civil engineering industry. They are presently looking to recruit a Fitter to add to their existing team. There are no shifts with this role but there is overtime and you will be expected to carry out the following duties:
* Planned and preventative maintenance
* Reactive maintenance
* Reading and interpreting drawings
* Ensure all maintenance is recorded
* Complete manufacture and modifications as required
* Work in line with agreed schedules
* Use an assortment of hand tools
* Ad hoc duties as requested
In order to carry out this role, our client is looking for an experienced Fitter who has experience of servicing and maintaining mechanical and hydraulic systems. You should also have great communication skills, have good fault finding ability and an NVQ 2 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
