Assistant Accountant

A highly creative company who have won awards for the quality of the work they have had commissioned are recruiting an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to work within their accounts department. Our client has developed an excellent reputation in what is a highly competitive industry and is viewed upon as a leader by their competitors.

Due to considerable growth they have experienced, and a recent acquisition of another company, their Accounts department is actively seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the Management Accounts team.

If you are a Part Qualified Accountant or someone who has worked as an Assistant Accountant than this could be a great opportunity for you. You must have had previous experience and be an outgoing, determined individual who has had exposure to the production of Management Accounts.

You will be given additional responsibilities in assisting the Management Accountants in ad hoc finance projects as required. This is an excellent opportunity for to work within a forward thinking and dynamic company. Our client will not be looking for someone who is there to?make up the numbers?. They will want a fully committed member of the team who has strong interpersonal skills alongside their technical ability.

Ideally, you will:

Have previous experience of working as an Assistant Accountant
Be part qualified ACCA/CIMA
Be able to navigate your way around MS Excel (VlookUps & Pivot Tables)
Have good communication skills as you will be liaising with people internal and external to the organisation
