Assistant Geotechnical Engineer – Bristol – up to £28,000 + benefits
An Assistant Geotechnical Engineer is required to join a busy Geotechnical team as part of an international infarstructure and business services group.
You will join a leading business who work with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients to improve the day to day lives of millions of people.
The Geotechnical team requires an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer due to the increase in workload from winning high profile projects.
As an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer you will enjoy responsibilities such as:
Ensuring efficient project delivery
Ensuring projects are delivered to budget
Carrying out Ground investigation supervision
Carrying out Soil and rock slope inspections
Reporting for Geotechnical design works including Slope stability, Foundations, Embedded retaining structures and ground improvements
You will bring the following experience with you:
A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, geotechnical engineering ect
Membership of a relevant professional institution
Experience of geotechnical design within Highways, Water, Marine or Infrastructure (Rail, Civils)
Experience of Geotechnical project delivery
Experience of UK design codes including EC7
Familiarity with Geotechnical software
