Salary: £26,400 – £33,600 per year
We are currently seeking an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer close to Bromsgrove to join a leading Engineering Consultancy which deliver a range of Civil Engineering & Building projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will join the existing Geotechnical division to provide technical assistance in the delivery of a range of Ground Engineering projects through effective desk studies reports, design of ground investigations, pile design and project management. You must be educated to degree standard in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology preferably at Masters level and will have a minimum of 4 years UK based Consultancy experience. It is essential that applicants have a strong understanding of Geoenvironmental assessments, earthwork inspections and supervision of site investigations.
You shall be responsible for undertaking Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental desk studies, factual & interpretive report writing, design & supervision of Geotechnical site investigations, earthwork calculations & design. The role will require you to project manage the works in accordance to health & safety guidelines and within budget and time frames.
