Salary: £42,000 per year
Senior Buyer – Lincoln – Up to £35,000
Chase and Holland are proud to be working with a global market leading manufacturing business based in Lincoln who are currently recruiting a Senior Buyer to join their team on an 18-month contract.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role will see you assist the purchasing team through a major project and will see you working in a fast-paced environment.
Senior Buyer Responsibilities:
* Global category strategy development
* Supplier consolidation/transfer/exit
* Negotiating with suppliers and driving down costs and build strong relationships
* Quality, delivery and lead time performance
* Supporting business growth projects
Key Requirements and Preferences:
* Previous experience working within a procurement role
* Strong negotiation skills
* Experience of MRP
* CIPS Qualified (desired but not essential)
Hours of work – 7:30 am – 3:45 pm (Mon – Thur) 7:30 am – 3:15 pm (Fri) 37 hours per week. Some flex
