Senior Lean Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, an international engineering organisation, is now looking to recruit an experienced Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join their team as soon as possible.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• To lead the implementation of Lean at all levels, functions and processes required to achieve the improvement targets.

• To facilitate “hands on” implementation projects to develop and continuously improve established practice and procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

The Process Engineer’s role is to develop and implement Lean improvement tasks / projects to help achieve business goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include all aspects of CI (continuous improvement) for the company including, but not limited to:-

• Works with Technical Director to develop Lean Improvement Plan aligned with the business objectives.

• Ensure that Lean improvement objectives, specific goals, measures, and metrics are established.

• Selects appropriate Lean improvement methods and tools.

• Develops people capability applying learning by doing

• Shares relevant best practices from across Lean improvement projects as well as locally.

• Performs other related duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position.

• Any other duties as given by management.
