Finance Business Partner – Housing

Salary: £62,400 – £66,000 per year

Exciting opportunity within the development directorate of this London based Housing Association for a finance Business Partner; you will be a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA Accountant with experience as a finance business partner within the housing or property/construction sector, strong analysis and communication skills with the ability to support non finance colleagues.

The main remit of this role is to manage the provision of decision support, management and financial accounting services.

Core duties include:

* Interpret management accounts and budget reports and guide partner operational services on what this information means in relation to the performance of the operational service. Suggest actions for improvement, as required

* Guide partner operational services when assessing all new business opportunities and their commercial viability (with support from corporate finance colleagues as required)

* Advise colleagues of the financial consequences of business decisions and guide accordingly

* Support business leaders with budgets and service delivery

* Assess and report upon the viability of partner business plans

* Monitor service projects over time to ensure their continuing viability leading on review, negotiation and/or restructure wherever necessary

* Ensure that an effective financial risk management strategy is in place

* Responsible for preparation of management and statutory accounts

The Requirement:

* The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or Finalist with experience as a Finance Business Partner

* Experience withing the Housing, Property or Construction Sector

* An excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with a wide range of colleagues and present financial information in a user-friendly manner

* Advanced IT skills
