Salary: £26,400 – £31,200 per year
This well-established growing law firm based in Camberley are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team. You will be working in modern, newly refurbished offices and this role will be mainly office based.
Finance Assistant – About The Role
In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Director and will be working in a team of 6. Furthermore you will be working in a fast-paced environment that offers the opportunity to develop and grow within the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger and associated processing of invoices & payments.
* Processing daily statements received to client/office accounts.
* Identifying and recording money in and liaising with all departments to ensure money is identified.
* Control of petty cash and all associated payments and reconciliations.
* Posting transactions between the office and client accounting as well as posting any sales credit notes.
* Assisting the credit controller with debt collection and dealing with client queries.
* Maintaining a good understanding of the SRA accounts rules.
The successful Finance Assistant will have:
Previous experience in a similar position
Experience in a professional services environment
Strong IT skills
Ability to communicate at all levels
